A few funny Ava stories...
Ava is now a sunbeam and we’re working on
the whole transition still. She liked it at first,
but now she asks, “Why can’t I go back to that
room with the toys?” A valid question…we’re
hoping she decides it’s an OK place to stay.
Ava loves watching Hak’s basketball games.
One night when I had been at a Relief Society
meeting, I came home and Hak and Ava had
the Suns game on. As soon as I got home, Hak
left to go to the church for his game. Ava
really wanted to go watch him play, and I told
her we would as soon as Mom got to eat a
little dinner first. She said, “OK Mom, I’m just
going to go find which one’s my dad”, and she
headed over to the TV to scrutinize the Suns
players! It was pretty cute-why wouldn't Dad
be on TV?
Ava LOVES the movie Enchanted, and was so
excited when it came out on DVD. We went
and bought it that day and then came home to
watch it. Ava dressed up in all of her dress-up
clothes while she watched it. Hak called to
say he was on his way home from work, and
Ava said, “Dad, I’m being a princess, and I
think YOU are my prince!” Pretty adorable-if
only those days would last forever!
She loves wearing her sunglasses
whenever we are, and the other day she put
them on and said, "Look Mom, I'm a rocket
star!"
